My interest in photography began as the photography editor of my high school’s yearbook.
I attended a weeklong course at Trent University to learn composition, developing and printing of black and white film before the digital age.
It soon grew into a passion for taking cityscapes and landscapes during many summers vacationing in Europe.
With the advance of digital photography and further courses from the Photography Academy and Institute of Photography, I now specialize in Fine Art Landscape Photography.

I consider myself an adventurer.
With my travels, I combine photography with camping, cycling, hiking, and kayaking to explore and capture the most beautiful scenes in the world. My goal is to share my work and contribute to the enjoyment of all who appreciate fine art photography.
I shoot with the Nikon D850 full-frame camera. This camera has a resolution that lets me print large sizes of my work. It also has one of the highest dynamic ranges in the industry. This allows me to get fine detail out of the shadows when I edit my photos. I post-process using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Luminar Neo to add drama to what Mother Nature already produces to create an emotional response in my pictures and inspire others.
Ever since I first held a camera, I’ve been captivated by the way a single frame can freeze a fleeting moment. Photography, for me, is more than just a hobby, it’s a way of seeing the world. Through the lens, ordinary scenes transform into stories, emotions, and memories I might otherwise forget.
I love how photography demands both patience and spontaneity. It teaches me to slow down, to notice the subtle shifts in light. Whether I’m wandering through a city or hiking through nature, my camera is an extension of how I connect with the world around me.
Photography changed my life.
Photography helps me look at the world in a different way. Because of photography, I notice shapes and patterns that nobody else seems to notice, and I want to photograph them! I seem to pick out leading lines or naturally occurring patterns in the landscape.
I truly believe that photography helps me enjoy my surroundings more. I have a new appreciation for the beauty of the earth, and I love sharing that beauty with others through my photos. More than just an artistic outlet, photography is therapy, it has become a way for me to be present, mindful, and more deeply connected to the world around me.
